Translation
Cook Ding was cutting up an ox for Lord Wenhui. With every touch of his hand, every heave of his shoulder, every step of his foot, every thrust of his knee — zip! zoop! He sliced and diced with a rhythm, making music with his blade, moving as if in the Mulberry Grove dance, hitting the beats of the Jingshou music. Lord Wenhui exclaimed: 'Ah, marvelous! How did your skill reach such heights?'
