Translation
A keeper of monkeys was handing out chestnuts. He said, 'In the morning three, and at night four.' At this all the monkeys were angry. So he said, 'Then in the morning four, and at night three.' At this all the monkeys were pleased. The name and the reality were unchanged, yet their joy and anger were set in play. This too is just a matter of going along with things.
