Translation
There was a man of Song who grieved that his sprouts were not growing, and so he pulled at them. Wearily he returned home and said to his people, 'I am worn out today; I have been helping the sprouts to grow.' His son hurried out to look at them, and the sprouts had all withered. Few in the world are those who do not try to help their sprouts grow. Those who think it useless and abandon them are the ones who do not weed their sprouts. Those who try to help them grow are the ones who pull at the sprouts. Not only does it do no good, it actually does harm.
